Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe

Grilled Chicken Pizza This buffalo chicken pizza recipe is perfect for the big game. If you want a low fat pizza this is one you should try.

This buffalo chicken pizza combines two great bar foods; buffalo wings and pizza! This recipe was inspired by Rachel Ray and The Food Network!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound chicken breast cutlets
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, enough for drizzling chicken
  • 2 teaspoons grill seasoning (your favorite kind)
  • 1 pizza dough, refrigerated or your own pizza dough recipes
  • Cornmeal or flour for handling dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons hot sauce, medium to spicy heat
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced

Directions

Drizzle chicken breasts with extra-virgin olive oil season with grill seasoning. When skillet or grill is hot, add chicken and cook about 3 minutes on each side.

Stretch dough to form pizza using flour to help you handle it. Set dough on pizza pan to the side and clean board.

In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter and stir in Worcestershire, hot sauce, and tomato sauce.

Remove the chicken from grill or skillet and let it cool a bit so you can handle it. Thinly slice chicken. Add chicken to the Worcestershire hot sauce mix and coat. Cover the pizza dough with the coated chicken, cheeses, and scallions. Bake roughly 18 minutes or until bubbly and warm.

I suggest serving with a cold beer or two!

Enjoy!
