Simple, delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 Ready-made pizza crust (like Pillsbury, Boboli pizza crust, or your own pizza dough recipes)
  • 1 28 oz Can tomato puree
  • 1 Large clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions

Make a simple sauce by adding the tomato puree, minced garlic, herbs and bay leaf to a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer for about 20-30 minutes. Remove bay leaf when done. (Tip: If you're in a hurry, use a jar of ready-made pizza sauce like Ragu.)

Spread sauce over pre-made crust.

Sprinkle cheeses over top and bake for about 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees or according to crust directions.
