Crockpot Pizza Recipe

This Crockpot pizza recipe is perfect for potlucks or crowds. Not your traditional Crockpot pizza, but has all the flavors of delicious pepperoni pizza recipes.

This Crockpot pizza is wonderful for crowds or family dinners. I personally love anything I can throw in the Crockpot.

It's easy and the meal cooks while you go about your day.

Now keep in mind, this isn't your traditional pizza on a crust.

This is more of a pizza casserole, with the carb being noodles, not crust.

You still get that great pizza flavor, just not the wedge you're used to. I still think you'll like it.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 ounces) wide egg noodles
  • 1-1/2 pounds ground beef (can use turkey instead of beef)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti or pizza sauce
  • 1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 package (3-1/2 ounces) sliced pepperoni, halved
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Cook the egg noodles according to package directions.

In a large skillet, brown beef and onion over medium heat; drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Drain noodles.

Coat the inside of a large Crockpot with cooking spray and spread a third of the meat sauce in the bottom.Cover with a third of the noodles and pepperoni. Sprinkle with a third of the cheese. Repeat layers twice.

Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.

This will make 6-8 servings.

Enjoy!
