  • Grilled pizza dough
  • 1 jar low-sodium marinara sauce (or your favorite pizza sauce recipe)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, cut in strips
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • fresh grated Parmesan cheese

Prepare crust according to directions. Place dough on grill using a pizza peel or cookie sheet sprinkled with corn meal for easy transfer.

Transfer pizza to grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes, until the top of the dough puffs and the underside is crisp and lightly browned. Using a large spatula, turn the crust over. Brush the cooked top with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano and basil.

In a medium bowl, combine the cooked chicken, marinara sauce, and onion. Spread mixture over the top side of the crust. Top with Parmesan cheese and sprinkle on the mozzarella, covering the top evenly.

Continue to grill for another 4 to 5 minutes, until the pizza is cooked through, the dough lightly browned, and the cheese melted.

Enjoy this wonderful grilled pizza recipe.
