Las Vegas pizza is as hot as the city itself. With all the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas, there's still a love...and a need for great pizza. The places below all seemed to fit the bill for awesome pizza and great selection.

Most any pizza place is going to have both fans and people who think it doesn’t rate on the pizza scale.

Here are several pizza places to try and judge for yourself.

Metro Pizza (metropizza.com)
There’s no shortage of pizza selection at this Las Vegas restaurant. Their large menu includes stuffed pizzas, classic pizzas, East Side NY pizzas and specialty pizzas (like the Flying Piggle which has BBQ Pork, bread & butter pickles and onion strings!). The menu also has calzones, pastas and subs.

Amore Pizza & Pasta
This Las Vegas pizza place serves up traditional Chicago-style pizza. You can get thin crust, deep dish or stuffed crust. Also on the menu is homemade lasagna and baked rigatoni along with other pasta dishes.

Biaggio’s Pizzeria
Biaggio’s serves authentic NY style brick oven fired pizza. Create your own or order one of their specialty pizzas. Also on the menu are subs, sandwiches, pasta such as ziti and eggplant parmesan, and salads. They also serve breakfast (including a breakfast pizza!) from 9am to 11am.

Rocco’s Pizzeria
Offering authentic NY style pizza, Rocco’s menu includes traditional and gourmet pizza. Gourmet toppings include broccoli, eggplant, artichoke and prosciutto just to name a few. You can also order pasta dishes such as ziti or spaghetti, strombolis, sub sandwiches and desserts.

Northside Nathan’s (northsidenathan.com)
This Las Vegas place offers old-fashioned Detroit deep dish pizza along with a variety of topping combos such as The Gangster’s Choice (capicola, garlic and jalapeno) or the Nicely Nicely’s Pizza (roast chicken, garlic and mushroom) to name a few.  The menu also offers several salad and sub options as well as a couple pasta dishes.

Rosati’s Pizza (rosatispizza.com)
This pizza chain is another one serving up authentic Chicago deep dish pizza. Of course, your options are open to thin crust, double crust and pan pizza. Rosati’s offers a nice variety of toppings, including gourmet toppings like chicken and fresh basil. A large variety of appetizers, pasta dishes, sandwiches, ribs and salads are also on the menu.
