Pizza delivery Chicago style means deep dish pies, thin crust goodness and plenty of options for folks in the Chicago area.

Known for its deep dish, or Chicago style pizza, the Windy City doesn’t disappoint when it comes to authentic and delicious pizza pies.


Chicago is a big city, of course, but I tried to find a few highly rated pizza delivery places for you to check out.

Bacino’s of Lincoln Park (bacinos.com/index.html)
Known for its stuffed pizzas and thin crust pies, Bacino’s has a good variety of flavors including a Very Vegetarian thin crust or stuffed pizza and a Broccoli Bacino’s pie.  The menu also includes a variety of salads, paninis, pastas and even a few extra thin specialty pizzas. I hear the stuffed spinach pizza is the one to try.

Pequod’s Pizzeria (pequodspizza.com)
This pizza delivery Chicago style sets its pizza apart with the caramelized pan crust. It comes out with darkened edges, but don’t like that scare you…it isn’t short on flavor. Choose from lots of appetizers like breaded zucchini, onion rings or wings, sandwiches and pasta dinners. Pan pizza and thin crust pizzas rule the day though. Darn cheap lunch special available for dine in guests.

Another option for authentic deep dish pizza, The Art of Pizza is another go-to place for many Chicago folks. They have pizza slices ready to go when you walk in, or you have a pan pizza or thin crust pie delivered to your door.

This Chicago pizza joint prides itself in the crispy whole wheat crust and “bold sauce”.  The pizza flavor options are quite large too. The specialty pizzas menu includes a Popeye pizza (fresh spinach, tomatoes, roasted garlic, tomato sauce, feta and mozzarella), a Sole Mio (housemade meatballs, tomatoes, spinach, fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce), or a Grease Fire (uncle john’s hot link sausage, purple onion, fresh jalapeno, garlic, mozzarella, tomato sauce). There’s also a few sandwich and pasta dishes on the menu as well as very large beer menu.

Ian’s Pizza (ianspizza.com)
The menu at this pizza delivery Chicago place offers a few unique options starting with the choice of pizza sauce.  Choose from crème fraiche, alfredo, pesto, Greek olive puree or BBQ sauce to name a few. The topping options are also filled with variety and include choices such as penne pasta, asiago cheese, Philly-style steak, breaded chicken and avocado. Ian’s best selling slice is a mac N’ cheese pizza and there are a number of vegan pizza options as well.

Lots of thin crust pizza to choose from at this pizza delivery Chicago place. You can also order a whole or half chicken (or chicken pizza) which is another one of Fogo’s specialties (in addition to the pizza of course). Also on the menu are salads and appetizers such as garlic knots (yum!) and bocci balls (meatballs wellingtons with marinara).

Deep dish pies with a buttery-crust is what you’ll find at Lou’s. Of course you can get thin crust pizza too, but the deep dish is a favorite here. The menu also offers family-style salads, soups, pasta, sandwiches, desserts and kid dishes. And if you aren’t the Chicago area, you can order one of their frozen deep dish pizzas and have it shipped to you (within the U.S.)!

Gino’s is a pizza delivery Chicago place that has quite a few locations and is a really a small chain. But I thought it was worth a mention. Their menu is large and includes a variety of salads, pastas, sandwiches and deep dish pies including a cheese and spinach deep dish and a bacon cheeseburger pie. The menu also includes thin crust pizza made with chunky tomato sauce. Their cheese and sausage pan pizza is one that they are known for.
