Skillet pizza is a delicious, quick weeknight meal the entire family will love. Make this low carb pizza with, or without a traditional crust.
This pizza made in a skillet may sound a little odd, but it's actually a wonderful way to whip up a fast, weeknight dinner.
It can actually be made a couple different ways...so, go ahead and try both of these tasty recipes.
Tip: *If you add any meats like beef or chicken, remember to cook them ahead of time as they won't have time to thoroughly cook on the pizza.
Spray a large stove-top skillet with cooking spray (I use Pam).
Prepare pizza crust according to package or recipe directions.
Fill bottom and 1/2 in. up the sides of the skillet with dough.
Combine tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and oregano; spread over dough.
Layer pepperoni, onion, green pepper and olives over sauce; sprinkle with cheese.
Cover and cook over medium heat (set electric skillet to 375°) for 15 minutes or until crust is brown on bottom and cheese is melted.
Slide out onto a cutting board and cut into wedges or squares.
Serve immediately. Yield: 1 pizza (12 inches).
Cook egg noodles according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the beef, onion and pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Stir in the pepperoni, pizza sauce, soup, mushrooms, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and oregano.
Drain noodles; stir into skillet and heat through.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
