Sugar Cookie Fruit Pizza

A sugar cookie fruit pizza is a great dish for potlucks, showers or your family! This pizza makes a great dessert pizza recipe or a fruit pizza recipe. Either way you will love it!

This dessert pizza recipe is a fun, yummy dessert pizza treat. Serve it at a shower, potluck or for the kids. This recipe is definitely a sweet crowd pleaser!

FOR GLAZE: Boil the ingredients for one minute. Spoon this over fruit, especially bananas.

Chill before serving. This will make one fruit pizza.


Ingredients

Base

  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury refrigerator sugar cookie dough, thinly sliced (use about 1/2 pkg. for 10" pizza pan)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) frozen whipping cream (like Cool Whip)

Fresh Fruit

  • 1 pt. strawberries, raspberries or blueberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drain and SAVE juice
  • Can also add kiwis, mandarin oranges or other favorite fruits!

Glaze

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. pineapple juice (from the can of chunks)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Press cookie dough into pizza pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool.

Combine cream cheese and whipping cream and spread over cooled crust.

Place fruit slices decoratively on top: Ex. First ring strawberries, then pineapple, sliced bananas and other berries, etc.
