Below are a few great places to sink your teeth into. But Dallas is so big, I couldn’t possibly scratch the surface on great Dallas pizza places, so if you know of a great neighborhood pizza joint, let us know!

Most any pizza place is going to have both fans and people who think it doesn’t rate on the pizza scale.

If you’re looking for a festive place to enjoy a cool pie, then try Fireside. They offer a nice selection of yummy wood-fired pizzas including a Balsamic Roasted Chicken and a Triple-Roni. You can also get a great salad or slice of cheesecake as well.  The place gets crowded, so call ahead.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria(grimaldispizzeria.com)
This place hit the San Antonio list as well. Grimaldi’s fires up their NY style pizza pies in a coal-fired brick oven.  This chain offers lots of pizza options along with salads and calzones.

Cane Rosso (ilcanerosso.com)
Pizza Dallas style at Cane Rosso means high-quality thin crust Neapolitan pizza. Everything here is handmade including the crust and the sauce. Lots of pizza combos to choose from along with a sandwich of the day. They also have a mobile oven so they can the pizza to you!

Serious serves up big ol’d slices of thin crust pizza you can fold over and dip into marinara (or garlic sauce or ranch dressing!). You can even watch the guys through that big ol’ dough around in the air. The menu also offers salads and calzones.

Piggie Pies Pizza & Pasta
Pizza Dallas style at Piggies…that is BIG slices! Enjoy one of their pies or try their lasagna or pasta dishes. I hear their cheese sticks are just awesome.

This Dallas pizza place offers a nice selection of authentic Neapolitan style pizzas including a Truffle oil pizza and a gorgonzola, mozzarella, pear and walnut pizza. Yum! They also offer salads, pastas and Italian sandwiches.

This family owned Dallas pizza joint serves up a nice selection of unique pizzas to the downtown Dallas crowd. Get a white pizza, a goat cheese pizza or a teriyaki chicken pizza. They also offer a low-fat gourmet pizza. Also on the menu is pasta, traditional pizzas, salads and Stromboli.
