Chicken Alfredo Pizza

This chicken alfredo pizza is easy and a nice change of pace from the traditional pizza pie. This tasty pizza has a great white pizza sauce recipe.

Make an alfredo pizza as an elegant appetizer or as a main dish.

It's a great alternative to a traditional meat and tomato sauce pizza.

What's great is you can make this recipe quick and simple by using a prepared Boboli pizza crust and a jar of store-bought alfredo sauce.

But to make it really special, try making a homemade pizza crust with a simple white pizza sauce from scratch.

  • 1 prepared pizza crust (homemade or a pre-made crust like Boboli pizza crust)
  • 12 oz. chicken tenders
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 gloves garlic, chopped
  • 3/4 cup white pizza sauce(alfredo sauce)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 425 degrees.

Lightly spray a cookie sheet with Pam (or use a pizza baking stone sprinkled with flour).

Roll out pizza dough and place on cookie sheet or pizza stone.

Press down around side of dough for slightly raised edges.

Bake for 7 minutes just until crust begins to brown.

Place chicken and flour into a Ziploc bag and shake until chicken is coated.

Heat olive oil in skillet and add floured chicken; saute for 2 minutes.
Add chopped garlic and turn chicken; cook 2 to 3 minutes until it turns brown.

Remove from heat.

Spread alfredo sauce on pizza crust. Arrange chicken on top of sauce.

Top with mozzarella, green onions and parmesan.

Bake 7-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
